AN OPINION PIECE OR OP-ED WRITTEN BY YOU
Please review our Guidelines before submitting
- CONTENT: Op-Eds should be original, unpublished works which address a controversial topic and be relevant to residents or businesses of Encinitas. All verbiage must be respectful of other persons mentioned. You may be asked to provide documentation of the factual or logical basis of all or part of your work;
- AUTHOR: Include a one-sentence bio, without any links, noting your position and employer, in addition to disclosing any financial ties to entities or topics mentioned in the piece in detail;
- LENGTH: 500-800 words;
- EDITING: Submissions may be edited for content, style, and space;
- SEND your piece in the body of an email or an attached Word document (no pdf’s please) to publisher@encinitascurrent.com.
NOTE: We reserve the right to decline opinion pieces sent to us based on the above guidelines or timeliness of content.
